Using the pressure diagram analyses the pressure distribution of the distributed power system when the zero-pressure point is in different locations. The results show that the zero-pressure point should be at the location between the critical point and heat or cold source, which can cause the transmission energy consumption of the system to be lowest because of eliminating the energy consumption of the regulating valve, and that when the zero-pressure point is in different locations between the critical point and heat or cold source, disposition plans of water pumps are almost different, but total output powers of the pumps are the same.
